blogLinx update - Show Clicks feature

This weekend, we added a Show Clicks feature to blogLinx. Now, you can highlight the number of clicks on your links and track their activity. In order to take advantage of this feature, log in to your account, go to Settings, and scroll to the bottom of the screen to the Show Clicks section where you can set your option.

blogLinx update - Alphabeticize feature

This weekend, we added a Sort Alphabetically feature to blogLinx. Now, you can have your links sorted alphabetically by clicking on the "Alphabeticize links" button beneath your link list, which you can view once you log into your account.

blogLinx update - Sorting feature

This weekend, we rolled out a major, much awaited feature to blogLinx - the Sorting feature. Now, you can manually sort your links in any arbitrary order. All you have to do is login at http://bloglinx.bravehost.com and visit the add/edit links page. You will notice that your links are now placed in boxes. These are "drag and drop" boxes which you can easily manipulate with your mouse. When you're satisfied with the list order, click on the "Re-order links" button at the bottom of the list to save your changes.

We are planning to roll out a "sort alphabetically" feature very soon as well.

blogLinx update - Display Date feature

This weekend, we rolled out the latest feature to blogLinx - the Date Display feature. Now, users can display the date that a link was last updated. As of now, the feature is limited to lnks to blogs that have been updated. We'll enable an option to let you display the date for any link, regardless of its "updated" status, very soon.

Also, some users may have had trouble logging in or registering themselves last week. We were performing much needed maintenance tasks and have been back in business for quite a while now.

blogLinx update - 150 links!

Today we expanded our capacity to 150 links for every user. That's thrice what it used to be!

blogLinx update - Update symbol feature

Good news! We added new functionality to blogLinx this weekend to allow users to specify their update symbols.

New users will have their updated blog links indicated by an asterix, *, by default.

Once registered, you can change that to any symbol you want or even replace it with the URL of an image that's already uploaded to the web.

To avail of this feature, simply click on the "Settings" link in your control panel.

I've been remiss w.r.t. the blogging scene for some time now, partly due to personal reasons and partly due to the demise of my blogrolling links. I'm very lazy without it, because I've accumulated quite a bunch of valuable blogger friends whose posts I like reading. Don't know how many of you utilize the blogrolling service (http://www.blogrolling.com), but I'm sure those of you that do, have noticed that it hasn't been working for a couple of months now.

So, I dug back into my programming background (I swore to myself I would never code another line again after college...but some promises are made to be broken, I guess) and came up with blogLinx, a stripped down version of the essential services provided by www.blogrolling.com.

At the moment, if you register at blogLinx (http://bloglinx.bravehost.com/), you can add up to 50 blog links to your own link list. The service is very self-explanatory.

And here's the best part: you can import your links from blogrolling.com! All it takes is pasting the url link that blogrolling provided you. For example, my blogrolling url is: http://rpc.blogrolling.com/display.php?r=f3f3ff5f3a8ffec015eae0a49a2e763e.

Of course, keep in mind the maximum number of links you can add to blogLinx - 50.

Currently, blogLinx is free. I intend to keep it that way.

Instructions for accessing your link list from your blog site are provided to you once you register and log in to blogLinx.
